Release notes

This page tracks changes to the docs site that matter to readers. It should stay focused on what changed in the guidance and reference material, not on internal engineering churn.

  • rewrote the main docs navigation around practitioner tasks
  • added first-transaction, workspace, settlement preparation, review, and closeout guides
  • added What Torrens supports today as the current support reference
  • added safe synthetic guide images and a screenshot manifest for future local captures
  • rewrote the main docs path so the site now explains Torrens as an operating model for residential settlement
  • clarified what Torrens does, what still requires legal-team review, and how firms should read the trust and integrations guidance
  • introduced a support reference layer for product claims
  • established the branded Starlight docs shell for docs.torrens.co.nz
  • added the docs-only passwordless email gate with request-time middleware, signed sessions, and rate limiting
  • introduced the generated reference pipeline plus coverage reporting
  • published the first curated narrative pass across overview, workflow, controls, integrations, and reference pages
  • simplified the first step of docs login to a single email field with a Continue with email action
  • split the code step into a separate screen with calmer resend and recovery guidance
  • updated code entry to a six-slot visual treatment backed by one semantic input for paste, accessibility, and autofill-friendly behavior
  • clarified the remaining verification caveat for readers: real-device OTP autofill should still be checked on an actual browser/device when that confidence is needed
  • highlight meaningful changes to reader-facing guidance and reference pages
  • keep the launch history readable for invited readers and firm teams
  • avoid leaking internal implementation detail that belongs in engineering artefacts instead
