Check settlement readiness
Use this page when you need to understand whether the Transaction appears ready for settlement.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Check the current Transaction stage.
- Check outstanding workflow tasks.
- Confirm any side-specific requirements for purchaser or vendor work.
- Open the Transaction.
- Check the readiness summary and related workflow tasks.
- Review unresolved blockers across documents, conditions, title, lending, undertakings, settlement statement, and communications.
- Record completed external steps only when the external confirmation is done.
- Escalate any issue that affects settlement.
Check before you continue
Section titled “Check before you continue”- Readiness signals are support, not legal authority to settle.
- Your firm remains responsible for confirming funds, undertakings, release, submission, registration, lender readiness, counterparty readiness, and blocker response.
- Do not proceed if a required external confirmation is missing.
- A task, note, upload, elapsed time, or summary is not enough by itself where Torrens requires a Torrens record, practitioner confirmation, external evidence, or external confirmation.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Use Handle settlement day for the current settlement-day support and limits.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”Torrens can show readiness and record actions. It does not replace practitioner judgment or the external settlement process.
